This first season of MW2 received a much earlier launch date compared to the 2019 title. Previously, the inaugural season for the predecessor went live during December of the same year. Its follow-up season would then go on to be made public on the 10th of February 2020.
Some of the notable locations that were introduced during that time were Rust, Atlas Superstore, Zhokov Boneyard, and Bazaar. The memorable Infected Ground War mode was also included during this release.
How many seasons will MW2 have?
It’s unsure with how many seasons MW2 will have, however the previous game: Vanguard had around five seasons ending in November 2022 right before MW2 released.
From this, it’s a good estimation that MW2 will have roughly five to six seasons
For MW2, the upcoming Season 2 release is following a similar strategy as the previous installment, coming with a new small map for Warzone 2, new multiplayer maps, new unique weapons, Ranked Play, and a whole lot more. Some of these additions will likely come in the first half of the season while others will probably drop later. It’s also probably safe to assume a “Reloaded” drop will happen around six weeks into the season.
The first Reloaded season also saw Raids arrive – and we’ve been promised that more Raids will be added in future seasons, so we can almost definitely safely assume we’ll get some of those too.
