One of the most popular Modern Warfare playlists is coming back next week, promising players plenty of nonstop action-packed Call of Duty gameplay. According to Infinity Ward’s latest community update, Shoot House 24/7 is coming back for the first time since early December. This is an announcement that should excite the majority of the Modern Warfare player base.
Shoot House has been one of the most popular maps in Modern Warfare, largely thanks to its layout. Similar to Black Ops’ Firing Range, Shoot House is a small map with many layers that provides for fast gameplay but still requires quick reflexes and skilled aiming. In contrast with the game’s larger maps and the amount of time it takes to find enemies on those maps, Shoot House is certainly one of the game’s best.
Shoot House is currently available via the Shoot the Ship playlist. This playlist pairs Shoot House with Shipment, another small but fast paced map. Although this playlist achieves the same level of high energy gameplay, Shipment has a lot of issues. Players spawn in completely random places, often dying before they’re even able to move or getting gunned down by a player who just happens to spawn behind them.
Thanks to these flaws, as well as the inability to veto maps, many players have been hoping that an exclusive Shoot House playlist would return. When Shoot House 24/7 originally left the game back in December, many players expressed their anger online, so there will likely be a lot of happy fans when the playlist finally makes its return.
For players who do enjoy the chaos that is Shipment, a Shipment 24/7 playlist is also expected to come with the update. Not only that, but Deathmatch Domination and Gunfight Custom playlists are also being added, as well as a fix for a pesky glitch that had been deleting players’ combat stats.
Steady updates one are a huge reason why Modern Warfare has seen the most success of any Call of Duty title in quite some time, and many players have been returning to the game. It might not be Modern Warfare 2, but Infinity Ward is continually working on the game, and it shows.
Shoot House 24/7 will be arriving back in Modern Warfare sometime next week.
