More news on Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain is coming today besides yesterday’s leaked release date, Konami has teased.
Tweeting after yesterday’s leak, Konami said: “Soo, you heard the latest #MGS V TPP news? There’s more to come, stay tuned for more announcements [today at 2pm GMT].”
The Phantom Pain’s release date was accidentally revealed in a leaked IGN video yesterday, confirming a September 1st worldwide launch. But what else could Konami have in store? New features? Special editions? Pre-order bonuses?
Coincidentally, today is also Metal Gear Solid 3’s European 10 year anniversary and PS2’s 15 year anniversary. Not that they’re linked. Or are they? I have no idea.
