Players that enjoy the Mortal Kombat series and the lore surrounding it may be surprised to see how Noob Saibot in Mortal Kombat 11 looks without a mask. A Reddit user and player of the game was able to remove the mask of the former Lin Kuei member to reveal what he looks like.

Mortal Kombat 11 is starting to see its share of fan edits as Reddit user KantoHo has posted a photo of a customized Noob Saibot into the Mortal Kombat Reddit page. The hair on his head resembles a similar hairstyle of Frost from Mortal Kombat X, but with black hair instead of blue.

Noob Saibot was a Lin Kuei member named Bi-Han whose spine was ripped out by Scorpion. From then on, Bi-Han’s brother, Kuai Liang, took the mantle of his brother and became the new Sub-Zero and grandmaster of the Lin Kuei. Noob Saibot’s intro interactions with his brother can paint the picture of the tension between their relationship as Noob Saibot finds Sub-Zero to be lacking while Sub-Zero finds his brother to be one that is stripped of his humanity.

Bi-Han, now corrupted in his resurrection, took the name of Noob Saibot and carries out his evil duties. Noob Saibot can be seen as the cool shadow assassin in Mortal Kombat 11 and is a threat to Earthrealm. He can still be seen with his original dark form behind his head slightly but his face is pretty clear and adds a newer side to the popular Mortal Kombat character that fans of NetherRealm’s fighting game franchise have not seen in a long time.

Although the skin for Noob Saibot has been modified to have a more human side, with enough fan involvement, Netherrealm Studios could potentially release an official Bi-Han skin for Noob Saibot in the future. Fan involvement is important for games as players of Mortal Kombat have been keen on having returning characters as well as a mix of guest characters added to the game.

Mortal Kombat 11 is out now for PS4, Xbox One, PC, Stadia, and Switch.
