Mortal Kombat X is starting to look pretty good. Essentially the last iteration merged with NetherRealm’s Injustice, it’s one of those games that, thankfully, refuses to take itself too seriously as is all the better for it.
Given that this is the sequel to what many saw as a reboot for the franchise, though, all the bells and whistles are back too, including the much fabled story mode. Only this time it doesn’t suck.
