Modern Warfare 2 is arriving very soon, with gamers set to get their first taste of the campaign in the early access period that kicks off on October 21.

Modern Warfare 2 is a graphically impressive game, but like its 2019 predecessor, there will be plenty of options to support hardware of all ages. Don’t forget, MW2 is arriving on the PS4 and OG Xbox One, such is the versality of the game’s revamped IW Engine.

The PC version will feature 4K graphics and ultrawide support, not to mention all manner of customisation options to help it run on a variety of systems.

You’ll of course be able to choose quality presets, but also more granular detail such as custom framerate limits, V-Sync, spot cache, anti aliasing quality, texture resolution, particle quality, shader quality, field of view for both third and first person and much, much more.

Modern Warfare 2 predicted PC system requirements

While Activision are yet to finalise the PC system requirements, we can make an educated guess based on what we saw from the Modern Warfare 2 beta.

We don’t expect those to change too much for the final release – except maybe the storage space to fit the campaign and extra content on there. We’ll update this page when the final specifications are announced.
