Players can explore the continent of Tamriel in The Elder Scrolls Online, and soon they’ll be introduced to much more once the new expansion is announced in January.
The Elder Scrolls Online has many interesting settings and stories in the base game and the DLCs. Now, ESO’s next adventure is coming in the beginning of next year, and will be announced in Las Vegas in January.
The announcement will be held at the HyperX Esports Arena at the Luxor Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. It will occur on January 16th from 12 PM to 4 PM PST. The website has a link to RSVP for the event, but warns that there are limited RSVP slots available and that they may run out soon. Prices have not yet been announced.
Attendees will not only be present for the live announcement of the next year-long adventure, but will also get to enjoy a meetup with the game’s developers after the announcement. In addition, they also will have the opportunity to claim exclusive ESO swag.
Not much information on the next adventure has been announced, so we can only speculate what it will be. The last long adventure, Season of the Dragon, was released in February alongside the Elsweyr expansion and ended in October with the Dragonhold DLC. It would stand to reason that this story could be released alongside another massive region update. The three provinces that have been released as major DLCs were Morrowind, Summerset, and Elsweyr. Perhaps the next adventure could go more in-depth into one of the other regions that has not been explored in recent Elder Scrolls games, such as Black Marsh or Hammerfell. Both of these settings are present in ESO, but there’s still a lot we don’t know about them.
We’ll have to wait until the announcement on January 16th to find out more. You will be also able to watch the announcement on a livestream, so all fans will get to experience the new story at the same time. However, members of the ESO community who want to experience the event live can sign up now.
