Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has secured another week at the top of the UK video games charts, claiming a total of 8 weeks at No.1 since launching in November.
The No.2 and 3 spots remain unchanged with FIFA 15 and GTA 5 following closely behind, while Assassin’s Creed: Unity jumps up four places to No.4. Chart Track attributes Unity’s increase in sales to a price cut, with the game’s average selling price lowered from £32 to £27.
Meanwhile, Minecraft: Xbox Edition holds on to No.5 ahead of Minecraft: PlayStation Edition at No.6, with Destiny moving up three places to No.7 – its highest position in the UK charts since the first week of January.
This week’s biggest mover, however, seems to be Saints Row 4: Re-Elected/Gat out of Hell, which slips 8 places from No.4 to No.12.

As the first major physical release of 2015, Evolve will likely head straight to the top of the charts when it makes its debut tomorrow. The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask and Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate should make their way into the top 10, too, with both titles set to launch alongside the New 3DS and New 3DS XL this Friday.
