No Man’s Sky was the best-selling physical game in the UK last month, according to figures revealed by GfK Chart-Track (and posted by MCV).
As a result, the game’s impressive sales also meant that Hello Games was the top-performing studio by revenue last month, and Sony the top performing publisher. Exact sales figures have yet to be announced.
F1 2016 also did well, landing at No.2 in the monthly charts, with Deus Ex: Mankind Divided at No.3. Overwatch fell one place from July to No.4, although GTA V climbed a spot to No.5.
Other new releases last month include Madden NFL 17, which finishes the monthly charts at No.13, Assetto Corsa at No.22 and AOT: Wings of Freedom at No.36. The biggest month-on-month casualty, however, appears to be Monster Hunter Generations, which falls from No.9 in July’s charts to No.40 in August’s.
