The Nvidia Shield Android TV box will launch in the UK tomorrow with prices starting at £149.99, Nvidia has announced.
Shield is powered by the Tegra X1 mobile processor, supporting ultra-high-def 4K displays at 60 frames per second.

In the UK, the standard Shield (16GB) will cost £149.99 while Shield Pro (500GB) is £229.99. The Shield remote costs £39.99, the stand costs £24.99 and an additional Shield gamepad controller costs £49.99.
In addition, Nvidia has detailed pricing for its Geforce NOW gaming streaming service, which it has likened to Neflix.
For £7.49 a month – free for the first three months – users get unlimited streaming of more than 50 popular PC games, including titles from the Batman and LEGO series. Those seeking newer releases, such as The Witcher 3, will be able to buy these fro the service’s store.
Geforce NOW is powered by Nvidia’s cloud-gaming supercomputers located in Central and Northern Europe, able to deliver games at up to 1080p/60fps quality within 30 seconds.
