Oculus Rift Pre Orders Open January 6

Pre-orders for the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset will open on Oculus.com at 8am Pacific Time on January 6, Oculus has announced.

“We’ll be sharing everything you need to know to order your Rift on Wednesday when pre-orders go live,” explained the Oculus blog.

All Rifts come bundled with 3D platformer Lucky’s Tale by Playful, whilst all pre-orders also ship with CCP’s EVE: Valkyrie.

In addition Oculus founder Palmer Luckey will be answering questions during a Reddit AMA on Wednesday at 6pm Pacific Time.

Rift is scheduled to launch in Q1 this year, but the firm recently announced that its Touch controller will now ship in the second half of 2016.
