Developer Oddworld Inhabitants has posted brief teaser video hinting that it’s looking to reveal more details next week on the next chapter in the oddball action-platforming franchise, Oddworld: Soulstorm.
According to the video, the studio will show something on March 20, which is next Tuesday. There’s flashes of art work peppered throughout the all-too-brief teaser and a farting noise, along with the following text: ‘Explore His Origins.’ Sounds very Abe-like to us.
Since we already know that Oddworld Inhabitants is working on Oddworld: Soulstorm, it’s very likely we’ll get a proper look at the game next week. Soulstorm is reportedly set to be a modern overhaul of Oddworld: Abe’s Exodus, which is the follow-up to Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee (known as New ‘N’ Tasty in its 2015 incarnation) that originally released on PlayStation in 1998.
Oddworld: Soulstorm has yet to attract a release date though hopefully we’ll find out something on Tuesday. Stay tuned.
