Several videos purportedly featuring footage from the as yet unreleased Need for Speed Unbound have leaked online. The footage - uploaded by MrCarrot1890 and Lvneth on YouTube and spotted by the fine folks at Resetera - currently consists of numerous videos that culminate in about an hour of gameplay. It predates not only the 2nd December release date but also the early access period,too, which is supposed to go live on 29th November....

In the rumor mill right now is a potential new Tales game coming from Namco for the PS3. The title, which is likely to be called Tales of Unitia, would be released this Fall 2010 for the PS3 only alongside another Tales of title for the PSP. The last game released in the US was Tales of Vesperia for next-gen consoles. Considering it’s been a two year period between then and now, it’s a safe bet the game would be close to completion by now and Namco is merely waiting for the right time to announce it....

Today BioWare released their newest in a series of Mass Effect 2 DLC, The Firepower Pack, available on both the PC and Xbox 360. The Firepower Pack aims to gear out your Shepard with all of the galaxy’s latest arms. Included in the package are three new weapons: a hand cannon, a heavy rifle and a plasma shotgun. Expect that each of them deal a tad more damage than your typical equipment....

Next on the list of games at Capcom’s Captivate event is Okamiden. There’s a slurry of new information on the handheld sequel to Okami, one of the best games you’ve never played. Okamiden brings back the Celestial Brush and sets you on another adventure against an evil demon. While you won’t be playing as the powerful Amaterasu, you do become a reborn version of Ama. A smaller, and much more adorable version....

The latest patch for Elden Ring is now live, bringing a whole host of small changes. Patch 1.04 has improved stability of gameplay and made a large number of balance tweaks to weapons, sorceries, and weapon skills. It also adds an option to change camera auto-rotation and some additional event phases for the NPC Patches. In particular, the attack speed of colossal weapons has been increased to make them a more viable option for pure melee builds....

Although GeForce Now seemed like the next major competitor in the video game streaming service field, its potential for dominance disappeared as quickly as several of its titles did. After removing all its Activision-Blizzard titles, the Nvidia streaming platform has shrunk even further. While GeForce Now’s most recent loss is not its worst, the situation surrounding this latest game’s departure has raised questions over how Nvidia built the platform’s original library of over a thousand games....

The GPU market is continuing to grow in 2021, with market share realigning in unsurprising ways. According to Jon Peddie Research, sales of integrated and dedicated GPUs increased by 35% in the first quarter of this year. Nvidia, AMD, and Intel also sold a combined total of 119 million units during Q1 2021. In terms of overall GPU Market share, both AMD and Nvidia suffered a slight decrease from Q4 2021....

Most players know Obsidian Entertainment for its RPGs, particularly its big-budget ones like Fallout: New Vegas and The Outer Worlds. These titles almost always come up whenever people talk about the developer, which may lead to the assumption that Obsidian exclusively specializes in making these kinds of games. Bandai Namco & ILCA Inc have announced One Piece Odyssey, a new RPG based on the popular manga and anime series One Piece Odyssey will see Monkey D. Luffy and the gang swallowed by a huge storm while out at sea. Washing up on a mysterious island, the crew of the Thousand Sunny are completely split up and broken apart. You’ll have to explore the island, deal with strange encounters from the locals and powerful enemies and try and get the crew back together to set sail once more....

Today Blizzard Entertainment released a new trailer of the upcoming hero shooter Overwatch 2. As usual, Activision likes releasing “launch” trailers way before the actual release, so we get to see Overwatch’s superbly-animated heroes in epic action, including the new ones. At the end of the trailer, we also get to see some more of the Mythic skins that will come with the premium battle pass, on top of a further look at the one for Genji that we had already seen before....

Mojang informed the Minecraft community that there may be a delay to the launch of dungeon crawler spin-off, Minecraft Dungeons. “As we’re working from home to do our part in protecting our community, our workflows will unfortunately be impacted. We’re working hard to deliver Minecraft Dungeons in April, but we’re also re-evaluating our timeline to make sure we bring you the best game possible,” explained Mojang in a post to Twitter....

Mirror’s Edge Catalyst will launch for PS4, Xbox One and PC on February 26 in the UK, EA and DICE have announced. Telling the origin story of Faith and her rise from a careless young woman to a heroine who opens the eyes of an entire city, Catalyst features fluid movement and combat in a massive city where you can run free and explore. “When we set out to bring Mirror’s Edge to a new generation of gamers, we knew we wanted to deliver on the potential of the first game – building an iconic heroine in Faith, bringing a beautiful, stylised world to life, and delivering fluid first person action,” said Sara Jansson, senior producer at DICE....
