For instance, a new Mortal Kombat 11 video revealed all of Nightwolf’s skins, abilities, and more just yesterday. Now, there is even more of this MK11 DLC character to see, as two of Nightwolf’s Brutalities have recently been shared as well....

Since his reveal last year, much has been made of the visual style of The Joker in Mortal Kombat 11. In the debut trailer, the character drew the ire of fans due to its lackluster design and overly clean look. Thankfully, things did end up improving after his surprise reappearance at The Game Awards in December, as his design evolved to appear more like what people were hoping for. Today Sony Interactive Entertainment announced a new format for the PlayStation Plus subscription, basically offering new tiers that merge the service with PlayStation Plus and more. While the basic service remains more or less the same (now called PlayStation Plus Essentials), but with the games offered at no additional cost limited to two a month, the Extra and Premium tiers (or “Deluxe” where cloud streaming isn’t available) offer a catalog of games which basically replaces PlayStation Now....

Bandai Namco America has announced that One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4, the latest installment in Koei Tecmo’s Dynasty Warriors spin-off, will be heading West in March 2020. Following the Japanese release on March 26, North America and Europe will be getting the game on March 27. A new trailer confirms the news, as well as shows off some extra gameplay footage. Back in the day, there was an unwritten rule when it came to split-screen competitive games. You weren’t allowed to actively look at your opponent’s screen under any circumstances. Nevermind that this was quite simply impossible for nearly everyone: in the ’90s, TV screens weren’t what they are today. Today Mojang revealed the third candidate that will participate in the popular mob vote at Minecraft Live 2022. The mob is the “Tuff Golem” and it is defined as “a statue with a twist.” In fact, it comes alive and will go pick up the first object it comes across. Today Microsoft and Mojang released a new trailer teasing this year’s Minecraft Live celebration, which is coming next month. The event will air on October 15 at noon EDT, 9:00 am PDT, 5:00 pm BST, or 6:00 pm CEST depending on where you live. It promises plenty of news about the game and its upcoming updates, and it’s pretty much where Mojang makes its biggest announcements and shows off what players can expect from the next year of Minecraft (and at times even beyond that)....

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, the reboot/update of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare will feature serious cross-platform play via input matchmaking. However, there won’t be any zombie modes. As covered by Forbes and confirmed by Infinity Ward producer Candice Capen on Twitter, the new Modern Warfare game will handle cross-platform play via input matchmaking. At this year’s digital PAX event, Borderlands developer Gearbox Software detailed what’s to come for Borderlands 3 in 2020. Aside from detailing next-generation console plans, which includes a free upgrade, the developer announced that more Borderlands 3 DLC content is coming to all versions of the game. The next paid add-on for Borderlands 3 comes later this year, but it will look a little different compared to existing DLC. Rather than another campaign add on, the upcoming content drop will include a brand new game mode, as well as one new skill tree for each Vault Hunter....
