Square Enix has announced that JRPG NEO: The World Ends With You has a release date, declaring the title will launch this July and also declaring a PC version will be on the way soon after too. Following protoganist Rindo, you’ll be exploring the heart of Tokyo as you attempt to uncover the secrets behind the ‘Reapers Game’ in this follow up to the 2007 Nintendo DS exclusive. As you explore an anime-style Shibuya, you’ll be gathering your party and completing a range of missions and fighting monsters known as ‘The Noise’ in flashy battles....

As the next generation of consoles gets closer and closer, Microsoft has already decided to reveal a couple of games that will be available on the Xbox Series X’s release. Oddworld: Soulstorm is the reimagining of Oddworld: Abe’s Exoddus which came out in 1998. It’s a completely new game, one that’ll present many challenges as you and Abe progress through 17 levels. The game can be tough at times, especially when you consider various puzzle mechanics and methods to get past certain sections. Developer Oddworld Inhabitants has posted brief teaser video hinting that it’s looking to reveal more details next week on the next chapter in the oddball action-platforming franchise, Oddworld: Soulstorm. According to the video, the studio will show something on March 20, which is next Tuesday. There’s flashes of art work peppered throughout the all-too-brief teaser and a farting noise, along with the following text: ‘Explore His Origins.’ Sounds very Abe-like to us....

Rocket League will finally be updated to run at 4K on PS4 Pro when a patch releases on February 21, Sony and Psyonix have announced. Psyonix has brought in development buddy Panic Button to work on the game update, with 4K 60fps visuals promised in all arenas for single and two-player split-screen modes. The game won’t run at native 4K, but should look pretty close to the real thing thanks to checkerboard rendering....

Mojang is ready to introduce the next update for Minecraft and it is sweet as can be. Minecraft Snapshot 19W34A adds bees to the open-world adventure game alongside Bee Nests, Hives, and Honey. Those who play the Java version of Minecraft can try out the new snapshot themselves, so long as they have them enabled in the Minecraft Launcher. Everyone’s likely familiar with bees in real life, but Minecraft’s version of a bee is special in its own way....

Pocketwatch Games and Humble Games have just announced that co-op sequel Monaco 2 is currently in active development. The game is the follow-up to 2013 XBLA and PC indie game Monaco: Whats Yours is Mine. That first entry saw up to four players assemble a crack team of thieves and criminals to pull off ever-more difficult heists across a series of maps. The sequel will broadly follow a similar concept, but moves the action from top-down to 3D....
