Angela Game announced that it too will dip its toes into the real-time strategy pool, revealing that Myth of Empires will come to PC on Steam. Today Aniplex announced that a new City Hunter anime movie is in production. The announcement was made in celebration of the 35th anniversary of the airing in Japan of the first episode of the original City Hunter anime. The announcement also mentions that the previous movie which premiered in 2019 (about which you can read my report) was considered a big hit, grossing over 1.5 billion yen (over $12 million)....

The first two Ninja Gaiden games are not perfect. Far from it, really. Regardless, they’re two of the best action games you can find anywhere. They have tight, rewarding mechanics, extremely high skill ceilings, and some of the most murderous enemies in the medium. Ninja Gaiden Master Collection is not a definitive compilation. Instead, it’s a few bare minimum ports of the lesser versions of two of the world’s greatest action games, plus the not-as-awful version of Ninja Gaiden 3, Razor’s Edge....

American esports organization Dignitas has confirmed their return to male CS:GO, revealing a roster primarily made up of former Ninjas in Pyjamas players. The Major-winning NiP roster has now reunited under the Dignitas name, with four members actively competing while Robin “Fifflaren” Johansson takes up the coaching role. After announcing Patrik “f0rest” Lindberg’s release from the organization, Ninjas in Pyjamas revealed 22-year-old Tim “nawwk” Jonasson would take his place on their active roster....

Nintendo has removed a Switch game from the eShop following a revelation from its developer, who disclosed having covertly placed an “easter egg” that allows people to create basic apps. The role-playing, text-based game called A Dark Room was pulled from the eShop on April 26th, two weeks after its launch, after creator, Amir Rajan, revealed having placed a secret code editor which uses a programming language called Ruby. “Last week I released A Dark Room to the Nintendo Switch....

Nintendo UK has just released a new trailer showcasing some of the titles coming to the Nintendo Switch, courtesy of the Nintendo x Indies collaboration. These Nindie titles will be coming to the Switch between September and early 2018. The three-minute trailer features titles such as SteamWorld Dig 2, Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom, Hollow Knight, Owlboy, Rogue Trooper Redux and many, many more. It would be nice to see something from the likes of Stardew Valley, Yooka-Laylee and Thimbleweed Park, but I suppose patience is a virtue....

Getting lost a sea just got a whole lot scarier thanks to a new flatscreen to VR mod for oceanic survival game Raft. Made by talented modder DrBibop, who is previously known for his Risk of Rain 2 VR mod, Raft VR brings the game’s open waters to life in a spectacular way. Along with 6DoF movement and comfort options for things like seated or standing play, the mod also brings minor motion controls to the game as well....

It took a while for it to happen, but One Punch Man is finally about to get a true anime fighting game adaptation. One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows arrives in February, but publisher Bandai Namco has been somewhat sparse with details. Popular YouTuber Onision has just been banned from Twitch, in what likely stems from repeated allegations of abuse and misconduct. You’ve likely seen Onision’s videos on YouTube as the popular content maker has videos with millions of views. He got started in 2006 and has since then become one of YouTube’s biggest stars, but his stardom hasn’t been without controversy. That controversy seems to have gotten Onision banned from Twitch, according to the site StreamerBans....
