Bandai Namco Games has announced that manga-powered actioner My Hero One’s Justice will be released in the UK and US on October 26. Those of you who pre-order the game will also bag an extra prize, namely the ability to step into the role of Endeavor. My Hero One’s Justice is based on the hit Weekly Shonen Jump manga series, and allows you to side with the hero or villain. So, you can either do good deeds by helping out those in a pickle, or just be a complete git and bring about the destruction of humanity....

It really seems that Naughty Dog has something in the pipeline. The same game director and Co-President of the software house, Neil Druckmann, has in fact recently written on his Twitter profile that he and his team are working on a new project that will be “something very cool.” Rumors about a new Naughty Dog game have been chasing each other for some time, and therefore it seems the time has come for the team to launch a new IP after the announced resounding success of The Last of Us: Part 2....

Today Activision and Marvel announced that the voice of Spider-Man in the upcoming Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions game will be none other than Neil Patrick Harris (or NPH as the" internets" like to call him). Of the four Spider-Men in the game, Harris will be voicing the role of the original Amazing Spider-Man. This isn’t Harris’ first time stepping into the voice of Spider-Man, as he previously voiced the role in 2003’s “Spider-Man: The New Animated Series,” which was broadcast on MTV....

In many ways, the persistent popularity of the rogue-lite genre feels like an anomaly. With notable exceptions, gaming has trended towards more welcoming experiences that do not punish players too harshly whenever they die. On the other hand, rogue-lites pride themselves on their oftentimes steep difficulty, which sends players all the way back to the beginning after a single death. While some undeniably find this aggravating, many others find surpassing these overwhelming foods incredibly thrilling and rewarding, which at least partially explains why rogue-lites continue to find success....

Developer 24 Entertainment has just released an update for Naraka: Bladepoint that adds a new hero, Valda Cui, to the melee-based battle royale. Along with the water-wielding captain, the update also marks the beginning of a new in-game event, the Mid-Autumn Festival. Plus, 24 Entertainment has done some rebalancing to the heroes and weapons in the game. There are two ways to get Valda Cui in Naraka: Bladepoint. One way is to purchase her for 600 Gold....

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater was once one of the premiere video game franchises available, with each entry selling millions of copies and earning rave reviews from critics. Unfortunately, the Tony Hawk series experienced a steep decline in quality, to the point where 2015’s Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 was universally panned. The Tony Hawk series has been quiet since then, save for the Skate Jam mobile game, but now it appears as though a new entry in the series is right around the corner....

Fresh on the heels of its announcement for Two Point Hospital, developer Two Point Studios has released a new behind-the-scenes video for the upcoming irreverent medical simulator offering a glimpse at the team’s ambitions for the title. You’ll find out how the studio, which has been cobbled together by a host of industry veterans, came up with Two Point Hospital’s visual illnesses and how they gave them life in-game. We’re also treated to some brand new gameplay footage for the Theme Hospital successor, so it’s definitely worth a watch....

NieR: Automata is getting some brand new outfits and challenges, and will be available in Japan from May 2 on both PlayStation 4 and PC. The DLC is snappily titled 3C3C1D119440927 and will include some battle arenas that are accessible by chatting to NPCs. Among the enemies you’ll face in these areas are PlatinumGames CEO Kenichi Sato and Square Enix CEO Yosuke Matsuda, because why the hell not. There’s also a number of cosmetic trinkets like masks, the ability to change the colour of 2B and A2’s hair, as well as new NieR-inspired outfits for the two aforementioned androids, as well as 9S....

The agonizing wait for Animal Crossing: New Horizons hasn’t been made any easier with a new commercial Nintendo uploaded today. Originally spotted from Nintendo of Japan on December 31, 2019, an English version surfaced this morning and it is the most adorable thing ever. In the short, resident money hog Tom Nook introduces the “Deserted Island Getaway Package” to a crowd of colorful animals and we get to see their exaggerated reactions to various gameplay features....

Nintendo has no intention to decrease the price of the Nintendo Switch, instead focusing its efforts on selling high quantities of units and its peripherals (via Destructoid). To be frank, the Switch is enjoying an excellent year. Its little brother, the Switch Lite, arrived in September and Japanese consumers snapped up 160,000 units of the new console in its launch week. Sales of the original Nintendo Switch rose to 64,000 sold during that week, too....

No Man’s Sky took some time to reach consoles after it was announced, but the wait was worth it in the end. For fans of sandbox games, the volume of content to invest in is deeply rewarding. The resource management elements are handled well despite customization not being as extensive. Either way, this simulation-arcade-style adventure will also tickle fans of not only sci-fi, but science itself. All of this is akin to the delightful Astroneer, but it finds its own path....
