Nintendo is recruiting for a new 2D and a new 3D game development project, suggesting that new Super Mario games are in the works (via WccfTech). The two adverts were posts to its official Twitter account. The 3D development team are based in Tokyo and the only Nintendo studio in that corner of the country is Production Group 8. It’s worked on Super Mario 3D World, Captain Toad Treasure Tracker, and Super Mario Odyssey, so it seems likely that the 3D action title would be a new Super Mario game....

Nintendo sold 4.2 million Switches in March, which is a staggering statistic given the serious shortages of the console (via Nintendo Life). Citing a report from GoldenCasinoNews, Nintendo’s latest fiscal year earnings report have been analysed and broken down. Dice revealed a final content update for Star Wars: Battlefront 2 will be releasing today, this is the last regular update for the game.
