Infinity Ward has confirmed the entry specifications for playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on PC. Despite being out for only two weeks, Infinity Ward is bringing some new content to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Live right now, two new maps are now available in different playlists for players to check out. They’re free, so you really have no reason to ignore this. Murder By Numbers – described as a “90s-themed Hollywood detective game” – has just been announced by Mediatonic and The Irregular Corporation, and it appears to be aimed directly at me. Murder By Numbers is a detective visual novel along the lines of Phoenix Wright. There’s evidence to find, a cast of weird characters to interrogate, and terrible crimes to solve. While the game itself has been devised by Ed Fear, that cast of weird characters has been designed by Hato Moa and the music is from Masakazu Sugimori....

The Last of Us developer Naughty Dog has revealed that it considered using a first-person viewpoint for its acclaimed post-apocalyptic horror title. Speaking at the DICE Summit this week, creative director Neil Druckmann confirmed that the California-based studio prototyped a first-person view for The Last of Us, which would have been the first Naughty Dog game to utilise the perspective. Obviously this was scrapped in favour of the third-person view we have today, although it’s certainly an interesting insight into how the game evolved over time....
