No Man’s Sky will finally release on June 24 in the UK, Sony and Hello Games have announced. The game will cost £49.99 on PS4, and £39.99 on PC. In addition to a digital release, a Blu-ray retail edition will be available for PS4, as will a Limited Edition featuring a range of bonus content. Nvidia has partnered with Hyundai, BYD and Polestar to bring its GeForce Now cloud gaming service to cars. Announced at CES yesterday, it will allow PC games to be streamed to vehicles using cloud technology and mobile internet. Oculus are seeing out 2015 with some bad news. The powers that be have decided to delay the release of the Oculus Touch controllers. The Oculus Rift VR headset may still be on track for a Q1 release in 2016 but the controllers won’t see the light of day until the second half of 2016. Capcom has dropped a video for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak showcasing the first Lucent Nargacuga gameplay. We are now less than one year out from the release date of the Mortal Kombat movie. To celebrate the countdown Ludi Lin, the actor set to play Liu Kang, tweeted out a photo of the film’s slate with what looks like a new twist on the classic MK logo. A new trailer for NBA 2K20’s MyTeam game mode has been criticized for its heavy use of gambling mechanics. The video, released today, features slot machines, loot box style card pack openings, and other mechanics that have been compared to casino games. In the one minute and 48 second long NBA 2K20 MyTeam trailer, there are six different mechanics that offer random loot drops that could be compared to gambling. The team of people who worked on Blizzard games in China as part of NetEase has been “dissolved”, a new report claims. The news follows the breakdown of Activision Blizzard and NetEase’s publishing deal which allowed for World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, Overwatch, Diablo 3 and more to be playable in the country. A report by the South China Morning Post states the team had begun to shed people back in November, when it became clear the companies would not reach an agreement to extend their 14-year partnership....

The next chapter in the Dragon Age franchise is currently in development at BioWare, the series’ executive producer has revealed on Twitter. The news comes hot on the heels of reports that the developer’s next major project, Anthem, has been shoved out of 2018 and into next year. Dragon Age 4 (or whatever it ends up being called; BioWare has shown a fondness for subtitles lately) has been rumoured for a while now, although this is the first instance where a member of the team has outright confirmed that work on the franchise’s next entry is underway....

Patch v10.20 is bringing a few changes and new items to Fortnite, including the return of the Floating Island and the all-new Zapper Trap. There are also a number of small Hotfixes recapped from the past week, specifically dealing with the B.R.U.T.E.’s Air Stomp, which stirred up controversy among the player base. Back in 2013, developer Crystal Dynamics set out to hit the reset button on the Tomb Raider series. It had gotten a little stale over the years, and the last few games prior to the reboot just sort of existed. Tomb Raider (2013) took obvious inspiration from Uncharted (which in turn, was inspired by Tomb Raider), and from then on the series has improved in the gameplay department.
