The much-rumoured (and previously ’leaked’) Nintendo Switch Mini may have just been leaked again, this time by a Chinese accessories manufacturer, called HonSon. It’s worth taking leaked images of this nature with a pinch (or a bag) of salt, but Twitter user @cptn_alex shared what could be our first shred of evidence of the machine’s existence. Now then, the images that appear in said Tweet are obviously PhotoShopped, but they appear to be advertising a legitimate product, as the company’s website has a lot of similar images, to show off their various cases and accessories....

Nintendo has revealed that users who cancel their Switch Online membership will have six months to recover their cloud saves. However, it’s now emerged that you will have 180 days to re-subscribe and reclaim your cloud saves, so it’s not all bad news. Once that window has expired though, they’ll be gone. ‘If a Nintendo Switch Online membership expires, users won’t be able to access their Save Data Cloud backups. However, Nintendo will allow users who re-subscribe within 180 days to access their previous Save Data Cloud backups,’ a spokesperson for the Big N confirmed to IGN....

A new study reveals that the top 500 highest earners in esports are mostly men. That is to say, 499 of those 500 are men. Only one woman has broken into those esteemed ranks, and that speaks to some major inequality in the industry. There are several possible suggested reasons for this, but the data all seems to say that women are just not welcome. Sony Pictures has released the first trailer for Morbius, the upcoming superhero movie based on the Marvel Comics character and Spider-Man villain of the same name. The trailer has been making quite a bit of buzz since it was first released, with much talk about Michael Keaton’s involvement in the movie and a connection to the critically-acclaimed Spider-Man PS4 game from Insomniac Games. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 players are ‘sitting ducks’ to flying AI bots, wielding high-powered weapons in the DMZ mode. These ‘flocks’ of soldiers are allegedly flying around Al Masrah, and raining down hell on players below. As cited on the Modern Warfare 2 sub-Reddit, these airborne soldiers are hard to kill but are not immune from damage completely. “I have seen them in groups up in the air. A flock of AQ,” said Call of Duty gamer on the sub-reddit....

Nathan Fillion has revealed he’s not convinced that Destiny 2’s Cayde-6 really is brown bread, despite the fact Bungie has stated unequivocally that the Hunter Vanguard has kicked the bucket. Cayde-6 meets his maker in Destiny 2: Forsaken, and is the catalyst for the expansion’s main storyline as you hunt down his killers. But Fillion’s having none of it. Speaking to Kotaku in light of his excellent Uncharted fan film, the actor confirmed that he’s not actually voicing Cayde-6 in Forsaken as he was busy at the time....

Getting into the holiday spirit, the developers over at Naughty Dog have announced it will be donating all the profits from a limited-time run of its beloved Jak and Daxter series to charity. In a post uploaded to the Naughty Dog website, president Evan Wells revealed the company would be giving all the money it received from its partnership with Limited Run Games to several charitable organizations. The two teamed up earlier this year for the company’s 35th anniversary to launch a timely physical release of the PS2 Jak games, including Jak and Daxter, Jak 2, Jak 3, and Jak X: Combat Racing for the PlayStation 4....
