Since the release of Mortal Kombat 11 just over three months ago, fans have been learning the ins and outs of each character on the MK11 roster. In doing so, some of these fans have found certain characters that they feel are slightly too powerful while others seem to fall a bit behind the pack. Apparently, NetherRealm Studios agrees that there are some issues with fighter balance, as a new Mortal Kombat 11 balance patch is making a ton of character changes....

This weekend, Martin Luiga, one of the founding members and secretary of the ZA/UM cultural association, took to medium.com to announce that he was dissolving the ZA/UM cultural association. For those unfamiliar, this is the team that was responsible for the critically acclaimed Disco Elysium. Luiga went on to announce that other leads, such as Robert Kurvitz, Aleksander Rostov, and Helen Hindpere, were forced out of the company. Luiga went on to clarify that the termination of the cultural organization was that it no longer represented the ethos and ideology it was founded on....

Since the release of MW2 there have been a few complaints regarding the matchmaking in the game. Most recently the issue was solo players being placed into lobbies that have already begun, a lot of the time this would mean players couldn’t influence the end result of the match. Often the game would have already been decided by the time they have joined the game. This issue was raised on Reddit recently, and we have noticed that on top of the above, fans of the game believe they have noticed another issue when searching for games by themselves....

EA Access members can now download NBA Live 15 for free from the EA Access Vault. The basketball game enters the Vault less than 4 months after launching in October, making it the quickest title yet to go free to EA Access members. The game joins existing Vault titles Battlefield 4, Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare, Need For Speed Rivals, UFC, FIFA 14, Madden NFL 14 and Peggle 2. A subscription to EA Access costs £3....

Yesterday Neocore posted an update following the announcement that their ARPG Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr was to be delayed by three weeks which included an unfortunate line. In the post, they added, “In return, we promise we’ll push this extra three weeks in 90+ hours per week so it’ll be very-very useful for Martyr”. The comment did not go down well with many who read it, including developers who have been in the unfortunate position of extreme crunch time prior to release....

Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific Season Four Reloaded added more new content to the current season, ranging from new weapons to exciting crossover events. Microsoft Flight Simulator launched a little over a week ago, and the reception was extremely positive for the most part. But, like most games today, some issues cropped up not long after release. Some Flight Simulator users have trouble installing the game, and others report loading problems. There are also problems such as game crashes when connecting/disconnecting peripherals, among other things. Asobo announced a few days ago that it would release a patch soon, and now the team has detailed when we can expect that patch to roll out....

We’re lucky that Super Smash Bros. Ultimate was released on a system where the games can be patched, as yet another game-breaking bug has been discovered, but it only occurs under very specific circumstances. The glitch was discovered by two Reddit users named FlamingOranges and VocalEcho, who revealed it in a thread that detailed how you can cause Super Smash Bros. Ultimate to shut down in a battle between Duck Hunt Duo and the Mii Swordfighter....

Square Enix debuted a fresh look at the Toy Story and Frozen worlds of Kingdom Hearts 3 during Sony’s PlayStation Tokyo Game Show livestream over the weekend. The footage follows on the heels of the Big Hero 6-focused trailer for Kingdom Hearts 3, which offers over three minutes of gameplay. Be sure to have a gander at that if you haven’t already done so. Almost 12 months ago Ghost Games announced that there would be a new Need For Speed title in 2017 and today it’s been confirmed that this is still the case. In a blog post, Ghost Games heavily leaned on fan feedback being important in crafting the next game in the series. And while information was limited, they did mention they’re ‘committed to customization having a home within the Need for Speed series....

Sony has released a new patch for Horizon Forbidden West that fixes a number of issues. However, most notable is that the widespread issue of shimmering graphics is still yet to be fixed, though the team has acknowledged it’s working on it. The full patch notes, on Reddit, list a number of “known issues” that are not yet fixed in this patch. “The team continues to investigate several graphical issues reported by players regarding shimmering, sharpening and screen saturation when moving the camera,” it reads....

Focus Home Interactive has dropped a new gameplay trailer for The Surge 2, flaunting the myriad of creatively gory combat styles when dealing with the dangers of Jericho City. Neither human nor machine will be safe from swift swishes with glowy swords and other melee weapons, and the settings boast glorious colour and dramatic lighting. Additionally, it seems that there will be lots of vertical exploration as one character zooms down on a zipline, and another leaps from a ruin to deliver one heck of a walloping to the poor soul below....
