Obsidian have published a pretty detailed break-down of responses they received to a recent DLC survey. It was sent out automatically to anybody who had backed an Obsidian title on Kickstarter or Fig, but also received additional pushes through Twitter, Reddit and the like. The studio were expecting somewhere around 15,000 responses, but ended up with a little over 55,000. Of those 55,000, the majority (around three quarters) were in the 20-34 age range....

I’m a One Piece fanboy to the point that it’s difficult for me to review this game. This job requires me to review One Piece Odyssey purely as a game, but as a fan, I could spend thousands of words rambling about how I found the premise and narrative choices aggravating and unsatisfying. But I’m not going to do that; I’m settling for hundreds of words instead. The franchise isn’t really known for pumping out quality games, however Odyssey is a good JRPG....

Genshin Impact is the new hotness right now, surpassing 10 million pre-registrations for Chinese mobile developer miHoYo. The free-to-play JRPG has been out for two days, and already, players have taken issue with the anti-cheat software. Milestone has warned players to expect “issues” with the Xbox One version of MotoGP 15 ahead of the game’s release this Friday. In a message issued yesterday, the developer said that recent tests had uncovered bugs “that could affect the quality of the gaming experience for players”, and that it was scrambling to issue a patch as “close” to release as possible. “With the latest tests, we noticed that the Xbox One version could be affected with some known bugs,” Milestone VP Luisa Bixio said....
