MultiVersus is the epic crossover game introduced by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The game has unlockable classic characters from Warner Bros., DC Comics, HBO, Turner Entertainment, and Cartoon Network. Today Muv-Luv publisher aNCHOR reached out with a press release to announce a release window for the mobile release of the original visual novel. Today Entergram released new information about its upcoming game dedicated to the popular light novel and anime series KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World!. The game, which is titled Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku o! ~ Noroi no Ibutsu to Madoishi Boukenshatachi ~, which translates into “Cursed Relics and Clueless Adventurers,” will features some familiar playable characters in addition to those available in its predecessor. We get to see Dust, Rin, Funifura, and Arue....

Enhance Games, a studio founded by Lumines creator Tetsuya Mizuguchi, and Mobcast have acquired the Lumines and Meteos IPs from Q Entertainment, Mobcast has announced. The California-based Enhance Games is already working on a new Lumines title for mobile platforms. The game will retain the music and feel of the franchise, but promises a reworked play style for the mobile gamer. There’s no word on what’s happening with Meteos, but it seems safe to assume a new game is also on the way....

The New Mutants is, at long last, set to make its debut in April – two whole years after its intended release. Indeed, the film was designed as a tonally off-beat expansion of Fox’s long-held X-Men movie rights, but Disney’s 2019 acquisition of the studio temporarily rendered it an abandoned oddity. However, director Josh Boone thinks the film still has something to offer, and, in a new interview with EW, dispels the long-held notion that it was subject to extensive reshoots....

Nintendo has announced that it is to acquire Canadian developer Next Level Games, making the studio who were behind 2019’s Luigi’s Mansion 3 a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company. The deal— announced by the company earlier today—is expected to go through by March 1, 2021 pending shareholder approval with Nintendo saying the deal would “secure the availability of Next Level Games development resources for Nintendo, including development expertise, as well as facilitate an anticipated improvement in development speed and quality by enabling closer communication and exchange of staff with the Nintendo development team....

This morning, Nintendo pushed out the day one update for the Nintendo Switch that adds the eShop for digital purchases, and also brings back the much-maligned Friend Codes in order to become online pals on the console. At launch there will be a 300 person limit on friend lists, Nintendo has confirmed. Prior to the update, it was unclear, yet almost expected, that Nintendo would drop the antiquated system in favour of something more akin to the way you befriend others on Xbox One, or PlayStation 4....

Hello Games is already hard at work on No Man’s Sky’s first update, the developer has said, after confirming that the game has passed certification in Europe, the US and Asia. Tweeting about the game ahead of its release next month, Hello Games co-founder Sean Murray explained: “For those asking – size of No Man’s Sky on disc is just 6GB. A lot of that is audio.” “We passed cert first time in EU, US and Asia, currently here working on Japanese submission,” he added....

343 Industries has no plans to release campaign DLC for Halo 5: Guardians, creative director Josh Holmes has revealed. Holmes confirmed the news to Red Bull, telling the site: “While we’re always looking for new ways to expand the Halo universe, we do not currently have any plans to release future campaign content for Halo 5: Guardians.” The developer does have plans to release future content for the game’s multiplayer mode, however, including 18+ multiplayer maps set to be released for free....

During its CES 2023 keynote address on Tuesday morning, Nvidia announced that DLSS 3 is receiving some significant improvements. The updates, set to be released by the end of Q1 2023, will improve DLSS Super Resolution, DLSS 3 Frame Generation, and DLAA. Nvidia DLSS 3 continues to increase overall game quality While the updates to the games using the feature certainly have been impressive, DLSS 3 has been improving, per Nvidia, by utilizing Nvidia’s AI Supercomputer....
