Another day, another case of Nintendo being Nintendo. This time, the company is cracking down on a YouTuber that uploaded covers of music from Metroid Prime to their channel. Content creator SynaMax revealed that nine of his videos have had to be taken down, after Nintendo sent in the big guns and flexed their legal muscles his way. “On 31st May, a lawyer representing Nintendo called me and asked me to take down nine videos off the channel,” SynaMax explained in a new video (spotted by VGC)....

Overwatch is a strictly online game and Nintendo hasn’t had the greatest history when it comes to online gaming. Activision Blizzard has detailed a bunch of rewards players can earn for Modern Warfare 2 if they take part in the game’s upcoming beta. From this weekend, players will be able to earn some exclusive cosmetics – which will become available in both Modern Warfare 2 on launch and in Warzone 2.0 whenever that arrives. You’ll have to earn each reward by levelling up during the beta, with the second weekend also offering additional rewards....

Modern Warfare continues its season one weekly content update with the December 31 update. Infinity Ward announced that season one would be the biggest content drop in Call of Duty history, and they are making sure to keep that promise. NetherRealm is at it again, throwing lip service at the possibility of including Mileena as a DLC character through the latest fighter to join the Mortal Kombat 11 roster. China has now allowed Nintendo to sell its first Switch console game in the country, New Super Mario Bros. Those retailers have been jumping the gun again, as a listing has appeared for New Tales from the Borderlands from Gearbox.
