Patch 1.03 is currently available for MultiVersus, and with it comes a new character and general tweaks. The update went live today, so MultiVersus players can fianlly check out the newest character, Rick Sanchez. Beyond that, a fair amount of changes and additions have come to the game today. Rick Sanchez was already confirmed for MultiVersus months ago, so that isn’t much of a surprise. He joins the Mage class, which also includes Bugs Bunny and Tom and Jerry....

For me, holiday time usually involves cozying up by the fire and enjoying some good television, and for this year Netflix’s second season of The Witcher was on the to-watch list. After announcing it a few days ago, the developers behind Microsoft Flight Simulator have now formally rolled out a patch to address various issues that players have been having with the sim. Patch 1.7.1.14.0 fixes a variety of bugs and game crashes caused by different things. Cleared for takeoff Some would-be simmers have had trouble even getting off the ground, as there have been reports of installer issues. This patch addresses that problem and Asobo is encouraging those with the issue to first do a clean install of the sim....

A new trailer for Apple Studios’ latest film Spirited has landed. Hollwood icons Ryan Reynolds, Will Ferrell, and Octavia Spencer feature in a modern retelling of Charles Dickens’s classic holiday tale, A Christmas Story. In the movie, Reynolds plays a high-ranking corporate executive named Clint Briggs, who takes the ghost of Christmas present on a spiritual journey to visit his past, present, and future. It’s quite an interesting twist to a well-known, celebrated holiday story....

Many will remember the success of Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed. That game was the closest thing you could get to a universal Mario Kart style experience. There was some uneasiness when it came to introducing Team Sonic Racing, though. During the big Xbox Games Showcase, Turn 10 and Microsoft have given us a glimpse at the next Forza title. Named just “Forza Motorsport“, the next track racer in the series looks like it could be a reboot of some sort. Racy-tracing technology was mentioned by Head of Xbox Phil Spencer before the trailer rolled, which took form as a teaser, showing the Laguna Seca track at high speed. No specific platforms were announced at this time, but expect Series X and PC to be the main development platforms....

As Sony and Microsoft gear up for another generation of console wars with the upcoming holiday release of the PS5 and Xbox Series X, Nintendo seems to feel as it doesn’t have any reason to worry. Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa recently stated that he does not believe the business trends of Sony and Microsoft will have a considerable impact on the Nintendo Switch, and that there isn’t much audience crossover between Nintendo gamers and those planning to purchase the news consoles....
