If you squint really hard at a THR report on Bad Boys 4, the trade buried the real lede of the story in a glorious final line: “[Chris] Bremner’s schedule is heating up as he is also writing National Treasure 3 for Disney....

We have had NBA 2K20 for a few months now and there are still some bits that confuse us. These are mostly relegated to the ratings some of the players received. Whether it is their overall score or the rating given to a specific aspect of their game, a lot of them don’t make sense. Of course, the same is true on the flip side. Plenty of players were given ratings that we love and believe are perfect....

EA intends to release a “substantial amount” of free DLC for Need For Speed, creative director Craig Sullivan has revealed, stressing that the publisher has “no plans to charge” for additional content. “We’re going to give you everything for free,” Sullivan said in an interview with Vice. “I’ve seen the plans for what’s going to happen over the next few weeks and months – there’s nothing in there, by which I mean, we don’t even have the ability to charge you in the game....

Elden Ring is a huge game that is redefining what it means to be open world. Having such a massive world to explore is a great thing for gamers, as it gives us plenty to do. However, that comes at the cost of accessibilit,y and some players may find the experience overwhelming. Thankfully, a new interactive map for Elden Ring has been released that should fix this problem. After nearly 27 years, the Pokemon franchise has finally reached the milestone of 1000 total creatures in the new Scarlet and Violet games. To celebrate, The Pokemon Company released an eight-minute and 45-second YouTube video showing encounters with every single Pokemon across multiple generations. It’s a fun look back at how far the franchise has come from black and white beginnings on the Game Boy. The video begins with the starters all the way from Kanto up to the Galar starters for a total of 24 Pokemon....

Many remasters aren’t particularly effortful. A slight increase to graphical fidelity here, a new feature there. But not all games are made more important by hit follow-ups either. Such is the case with Nier Replicant. While it garnered mixed reviews upon its initial release, it sold well enough for the series to continue with a more experienced development team. Now, the original has been notably spruced up. All in all, though, this is the same game as it was 11 years ago, and the combat and narrative are more than enough to convince people to see it through....

Nintendo boss Shuntaro Furukawa has revealed the format holder has no plans to unveil fresh hardware at this year’s E3. Speaking during the Big N’s latest financial results (via Gematsu), Furukawa added that the company is always working on new hardware internally, but even so, we won’t get a sniff of anything at E3 in June. His comments come following an increasing number of reports that Nintendo will be launching a cheaper version of its hybrid platform this year....

As if console modders and pirates needed any more reason to not mess with Nintendo and its products and intellectual property, a recent case has once again proved why doing any of those illegal actions isn’t the brightest idea (and will eventually get you caught and taken to court). Nintendo won a lawsuit, or to be more specific, an injunction, against a California resident who was accused of selling modded Nintendo Switch hardware, as well as pirated games....

PC Gamer has just announced that their sponsor for the PC Gaming show 2019 is Epic Games. For most people, this news is entirely predictable. The PC Gaming show has been a staple of E3 since back in 2015, and every year it has been sponsored. However, it seems that some people are quite upset by this. One redditor, who goes by the name of Slawrfp, is incredibly upset and they’d like everyone to know about it....

Codemasters does not have plans to release future F1 titles on Xbox 360 or PS3, F1 2015’s game designer Steven Embling has confirmed. Speaking to VideoGamer.com earlier this month, Embling revealed that the company is not actively working on a new F1 game for last-gen consoles, telling us that “we don’t have any plans for the previous generation at this point”. This year’s F1 2015, which releases on June 12, is in development exclusively for PS4, Xbox One and PC, and is expected to be the publisher’s first current-gen title....

Yes, One More Gate: A Wakfu Legend is very much one of those kinds of games. But it also combines everything with permanent upgrades and a very different presentation to make for a game that’s plenty compelling in its own right. The game is only supposed to be in Early Access for six months, and currently, it only features half of the planned content....

Outlast 2 players may have found it a little too terrifying and perhaps preferred a slightly less nerve-wracking experience. Today Red Barrels has released a new patch which includes a Story Mode. According to Red Barrels, the new Story Mode “allows players to experience the game with minimal challenges, fewer enemy encounters, and more breathing room to fully immerse yourself in the universe.” To achieve this they have reduced the number of enemies, slowed them down, and reduced their damage and perception....

At long last, Minecraft‘s The Wild update has a release date. On June 7, the update, also called 1.19, will be fully available for all Minecraft players. Update 1.19 has been sitting pretty as a Minecraft snapshot, or pre-release. It has seen three versions, all of which brought changes and fixes. But, in a couple short weeks, it’ll all come together as an official launch. The Wild update was first shown off all the way back during Minecraft Live 2021....

New images from 20th Century Fox’s Assassin’s Creed movie have been released ahead of the debut trailer coming on Wednesday. The film stars Michael Fassbender as Aguilar, a new Assassin created specifically for the film, and new modern day counterpart Callum Lynch who discovers his connection to the 15th century Assassin via his genetic memories. The action will take place in 15th century Spain. Alongside Fassbender are Marion Cotillard, Michael K....

Over 3000 of Activision’s employees are currently working on Call of Duty alone. To put that in perspective, that is more than the entire population of the village that I live in. To put those numbers into a different perspective, that is over 30 percent of Activision’s entire workforce (which, is roughly 9800), and close to half of its total developers (6800). “We are working on the most ambitious plan in Call of Duty history, with over 3000 people now working on the franchise and a return to the Modern Warfare setting that delivered our most successful Call of Duty title ever,” Activision wrote in its 2021 annual report (via Tweak Town)....
