MultiVersus is at it again with a major update bringing Stripe from Gremlins to the game as a new “chainsaw-wielding assassin.” This update also bring major tweaks to the gameplay systems, as well as an exciting new Halloween event that adds a new currency and new skins. Stripe wields a chainsaw and a crossbow as primary weapons, along with claws to swipe at enemies. Stripe falls under the assassin category of fighters in MultiVersus, and with the gameplay trailer that dropped today, it is safe to assume that Stripe will run down enemies and prioritize aggression more than the defensive minded characters that released in the past....

The next title in the MXGP series has been announced by veteran racing developer Milestone, and it launches later this year. MXGP 2020 will bring the series into the next generation, following the current motocross season, with a release date set in December. When it does launch, it will build upon MXGP 2019, with some brand new and returning features. With MXGP 2020, you can fully experience the the current MXGP season, competing with 68 riders from both MXGP and MX2 categories on 19 official circuits from the 2020 season....

Naughty Dog co-president Neil Druckmann has shut down rumours that Fortnite could be getting a The Last of Us crossover. Over the weekend, the rumour-mill churned thanks to prominent Fortnite leaker & dataminer ShiinaBR. They tweeted to claim that Ellie and Joel skins were planned for the hit battle royale game. The rumour also stated that the pack would probably release in September. Timed, of course, nicely to fit with the PlayStation 5 release of The Last of Us Part I....

Today Netflix revealed a brand new trailer of the upcoming The Witcher show, The Witcher: Blood Origin. The trailer focuses on showing some of the characters that we will meet during this new four-episode adventure, which is set 1,200 years before the age of Geralt of Rivia. It depicts a world dominated by elves much different from the human-ruled one we’re used to within the franchise. According to Netflix, the show tells a tale lost to history including the creation of the first prototype Witcher and the events that led to the Conjunction of the Spheres, which joined the worlds of monsters, men, and elves....

However, developer Gearbox Software has just shattered this expectation, sharing a brand new Shift Code that Borderlands 3 players can use to obtain a staggering 10 Golden Keys. As posted by Dualshockers there’s now almost 100 new minutes of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild gameplay as played on the Nintendo Switch. The footage comes from livestreams at Nico Nico Tokaichi, which is held in Chiba near Tokyo. It’s from the same starting area we’ve seen before (Nintendo are still being secretive about the other areas) but there’s a lot of exploration gameplay, and exploration of the snowy areas as well as the temple ruins and a dungeon....

Today The Pokemon Company released a new trailer for its upcoming mainline game Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. The trailer reveals a new character named Iono, a gym leader specializing in electric pokemon and also an influencer and streamer. In the trailer she challenges the viewer to tease her partner pokemon, who appears to be a squishy one, it’s pretty slow, has two bumps on its head that people mistake for eyes, and it’s obviously an electric type....
