Today Genshin Impact developer HoYoverse released a new trailer showing the next character coming to the popular action-RPG. The new heroine is Nilou, a beautiful dancer who enchants the crowds at the renowned Zubayr Theater in Sumeru. While the trailer is theoretically about her battle abilities, her dancing is at the core of her fighting style, so that inevitably takes front and center stage. She will be made available tomorrow (October 14) with the event wish Twirling Lotus....

The executive producer on Apex Legends has revealed that Respawn has slammed the brakes on its plans for future Titanfall games in order to properly focus on its free-to-play battle royale title. Nintendo has apologised for the performance issues of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Today brings a new patch for the game, which makes a handful of changes along with “select bug fixes”. The Nintendo Switch now supports VR, with the latest cardboard constructions from the Labo range bringing affordable immersive experiences onto the handheld/household hybrid console. Overkill’s The Walking Dead has been delayed on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One until early 2019, the developer announced at Gamescom this week. The cooperative zombie shooter was originally set to launch in the US and UK on November 6 for PS4, PC, and Xbox One. Blizzard vice president Jon Spector has shed more light on the upcoming release of Overwatch 2 and its Battle Pass heroes. Following on from rumours claiming Overwatch 2 heroes would need to be unlocked in the Battle Pass via a paid style similar to Fortnite (which sees characters put into the paid battle pass, while the free track simply offers a few rewards), Spector had the following to say: “Addressing some incomplete info posted early about our Overwatch 2 Battle Pass - we’ll be sharing all details ahead of launch, but want to confirm that new Overwatch 2 heroes will be available on the free track of the Battle Pass....

Blizzard has dropped its latest patch for free to play hero shooter Overwatch 2 – which includes the return of Mei to the game. As previously noted, the patch was delayed a couple of days due to a ‘critical issue’ – and also includes the first major balance changes for specific heroes since the game launched. A new Overwatch 2 patch is live, bringing a handful of balance changes to the mix — like with Zarya — as well as bringing back Mei as a playable character. Dominant characters such as Zarya, Sombra, and Genji have been hit with the nerf hammer, and a game-breaking bug involving Mei and Kiriko has been fixed, allowing Mei to return to the roster. Mei was temporarily deleted from the game due to this bug, but her return will allow her to build up more walls and freeze enemies to death once again....
