Bandai Namco Games has released a new Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom trailer, showcasing a tour of the casino-themed town of Goldpaw, one of the many new areas you’ll visit in Level-5’s upcoming vibrant RPG sequel. Goldpaw features an unmistakable eastern-flavoured aesthetic, with casinos the backbone of the town’s industry. In fact, gambling plays such a huge part in the affairs of Goldpaw that dice are employed for major decision making and trials....

While streaming this week, Blevins casually addressed the speculation regarding his windfall for joining Mixer. Developer Drinkbox Studios has announced its action RPG Nobody Saves the World is coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and the Nintendo Switch on 14th April. In addition to releasing on new platforms, Drinkbox is also introducing an updated local co-op mode for the game on the same day across all platforms. In Nobody Save the World, players take on the role of the titular Nobody. However, Nobody has a special trick up their sleeve, as they have access to a nice shiny wand....

Danish publisher Nordisk Games has fully acquired Supermassive Games, the latter company announced today. The acquisition fully puts the UK-based studio, known for Until Dawn, The Dark Pictures Anthology, and, recently, The Quarry under its umbrella. Last year, Nordisk took a 30.7% stake in the company but has since decided to put a ring around it. According to Supermassive CEO Pete Samuels, the acquisition “wasn’t a difficult decision.” Samuels states that the relationship between the two companies has been supportive, as they share similar “important values” with the Nordisk CEO Mikkel Weider....

Today, Epic Games revealed that the famous Jedi, Obi-Wan Kenobi, would be arriving in Fortnite next week as a playable character. To be exact, he’ll be available on the Fortnite Item Shop on Thursday, May 26 at 8 PM ET. While it’s a bit too late for the promotion to be in tandem with May the Fourth be With You, the Star Wars character’s appearance lines up perfectly with the release of his new Disney+ show, titled Obi-Wan Kenobi, which releases the day after on May 27, 2022....

A Modern Warfare 2 developer left an amusing and easily missed Easter egg tucked away in the game’s Al Bagra Fortress map. The Easter egg in question is written in very, very, small text, and can be found on the side of one of the map’s exhibits. Well, we’ve come a long, long way since From Russia With Love. Moonraker: a film that redefined the possibilities of the James Bond franchise if only by sheer scale of stupidity. Ever since Midway Games unleashed Mortal Kombat on arcades in 1992, gaming has never been the same. NetherRealm Studios has posted a statement explaining that PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players of Mortal Kombat 11 will finally be getting cross-play between the two consoles. Although this does not include cross-saving of progress of an account on more than one console, and we do not yet have a specific date for when this new feature will go live, the news is still exciting and has been long-anticipated. Players will not be forced to use the feature, and it must be toggled on in the options menu....

You know what my favorite thing to have in a Souls-like is? It’s to have a strict limit on when exactly I’m allowed to block. There’s nothing more fun than making a game harder due to rigidity. Sensing that, the gaming gods have seen fit to make us angry again. Mortal Shell is getting a DLC called The Virtuous Cycle, and there’s a teaser trailer or it today.
