Announced last night at The Game Awards with a bizarre trailer, Nine To Five is hoping to change the dynamic of first-person shooters. Instead of relying on twitch reflexes and outgunning your opponents, the title is emphasizing strategy and teamwork. Developed by Redhill Games — composed of former members of Remedy and 2K, among others — the teaser trailer at The Game Awards certainly took the audience by surprise. Starting off with a bunch of adorable animals running around with guns, viewers were led to believe this was a poor spin-off of Conker’s Bad Fur Day....

Streamers Tyler “Ninja” Blevins and Malachi “Reverse2k” Greiner don’t appear to be as cool anymore following the former’s taking offense when made the subject of a Mixer joke. It was a great time to be a Nintendo fan in the 2000’s. Nintendo has wished everyone a happy holiday with a Breath of the Wild gameplay clip featuring Link using his shield as a snowboard. No Man’s Sky will launch for PC the same day it arrives on PS4, Hello Games founder Sean Murray confirmed during last night’s PC Gaming Show at E3. Octopath Traveler 2 was announced during this afternoon’s Nintendo Direct, and will launch on Switch 24th February 2023. The Square Enix Japan OT2 trailer also notes Steam, PS4 and PS5 releases for the game (thanks, commenter TinyKaiju! Great name, too). The sequel takes place in a new era and involves eight new characters whose adventures you’ll get to individually play. The era appears to be more modern and reminds me of a kind of 18th/19th Century....

Counterplay Games confirms that more Godfall news will be coming very soon.
