The Mario world is one that would intersect very well with the Pokémon world. It just makes sense. They’re both very colorful worlds filled with gigantic monsters that can be captured in a ball and held prisoner. Okay, well they share some similarities. Anyway, we thought that was the perfect excuse to take a look at ten Mario characters to see what their perfect partner Pokémon would be. Let’s get right into it with the star of this list....

Nintendo has announced a partnership with Universal Parks & Resorts to bring “spectacular, dedicated experiences based on Nintendo’s wildly popular games, characters and worlds” to the Universal theme parks. Nintendo’s worlds and characters will be brought to life in entirely new ways only at Universal theme parks. The partnership will include major attractions at Universal’s theme parks and will feature Nintendo’s most famous characters and games. More information will be revealed in the future....

Nintendo has been making quite the go of it lately with regards to its Classic Mini series. First up came the NES mini, followed by the recently released SNES mini, and there are rumours of an N64 version. Now, a Japanese trademark application has popped up for a Nintendo Classic Mini Game Boy. The NHS in the UK is set to fund an addiction centre for young people and adults at a London hospital specifically based around internet and gaming addicition, it has been announced this weekend.
