Nintendo has confirmed the date and time for its E3 2021 Nintendo Direct and will be showing off the company’s plans for the next year in a broadcast scheduled for June 15. Nintendo has released, for the first time, a behind-the-scenes look at the process of making one of the animations included in the Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 trailer released earlier this year. Chinese megacorp NetEase has acquired Skybox Labs, a Canadian studio that’s worked on notable titles like Halo Infinite, Minecraft, and Fallout 76. Founded in 2011, SkyBox Labs - which is based in Burnaby and Victoria, Canada - has co-developed with partners like Xbox Game Studios, EA, and Wizards of the Coast. The company says it will continue to “operate independently”, “working closely with existing and new partners to pursue creative opportunities”....
