Last week, Mortal Kombat 11 Patch 1.07 brought a great number of balance changes to NetherRealm Studios’ newest fighting game, fine tuning and adjusting almost every character on the roster. Additionally, MK11 Patch 1.07 focused on Brutalities, adding an additional Brutality pose for every fighter and introducing brand new Brutalities for fans to discover. In celebration of this coup for Brutality lovers everywhere, let us take a moment to appreciate the beauty that is the Mortal Kombat 11 Brutality....

In the latest patch notes update for Mortal Kombat 11, developer NetherRealm Studios wrote that it is currently investigating ways to remove the 30 FPS cap in place for fatalities and fatal blows. With a mod making the rounds that unlocks the framerate for these portions of the game, it only makes sense that PCs are more than capable of providing a fluid 60 FPS playback at all times. The reason that 30 FPS cap is in place is so that MK11 can push more detail to the character models during gruesome moments....

Riot’s open beta for Legends of Runeterra is about to launch, but fans are already slightly disappointed. Players from North American, Asian and European servers will be able to chat to each other, but not challenge them to a match. You will be able to see whether your friends are playing Legends of Runeterra or League of Legends, but that’s about as far as you can go if they’re not on the same regional “shard” as you....

Ghost Games has outlined the list of new features heading to Need For Speed in its next title update, due to roll out across PS4 and Xbox One next Wednesday, February 3. One of the biggest new features is the addition of a brand new Photo Mode called ‘Snapshot Pro’, which lets players move the camera around their car and fiddle with a variety of different settings, including depth of field, vignette, saturation, brightness and more until they line-up the perfect shot....

The news for the Witcher on Netflix just keeps getting worse. First, there was the revelation that Henry Cavill will be leaving the show following the conclusion of the upcoming third season to be replaced by Liam Hemsworth. Now it looks like a spinoff of the original series, The Witcher: Blood Origin is the worst-reviewed original program on Netflix to date. With a 45 (1.3 user score) and a 32% (13% audience score) on Metacritic and Rotten Tomatoes, respectively, it’s clear that this show is widely disliked by fans and critics alike....

Netflix has announced that it has commissioned a third season of The Witcher live action series alongside a second anime film and more. The announcements came thick and fast during Netflix’s TUDUM festival over the weekend. Ahead of the second season’s arrival this December, the streaming platform announced three new projects set in The Witcher universe. Apart from a third season, we also got word of a new anime film following last month’s The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf....

Today, Nintendo of America revealed that they would be having yet another showcase this month, and that this time it would focus on upcoming third-party titles that are coming to the platform. This is the second direct of the month, with one that was entirely focused on Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Nintendo is once again proving that it is a mainstay within the gaming industry, as it has recently announced that its online subscription service for the Switch has now reached 9.8 million subscribers. Hello Games’ space exploration title No Man’s Sky is receiving full VR support on PlayStation 4 and PC, the company announced during Sony’s State of Play broadcast yesterday evening.
