Nintendo has downplayed reports that it intends to cease production of Wii U this year, noting that production will continue “next quarter and thereafter”. Nikkei sources had stated that production on some Wii U components had already stopped, with the console to end production entirely by the year end. The development of Wii U titles is not expected to end so soon, however, in order to ensure excess Wii U stock can be cleared even when the NX arrives....

Pokémon Home is finally available on Nintendo Switch and smartphones and Nintendo has a neat little incentive to start using it. Anyone that creates an account will receive a free Pikachu and Kanto region starter of their choosing. For those that haven’t kept up with Pokémon over the last two decades, the Kanto region was the area featured in the original Red and Blue games. Orphan Black is coming back… in a manner of speaking, anyway. It appears that AMC is teaming with (original series company) Temple Street Productions to expand upon the canon of Orphan Black with a new series, reports Variety. Today Kadokawa announced that the upcoming anime-inspired 2D action-adventure game Overlord: Escape from Nazarick has a release date. The game will launch on PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch on June 16, 2022. The game is an action side-scroller featuring Clementine as its playable protagonist, tasked with escaping the Great Tomb of Nazarick . An official-looking teaser video showing what new Overwatch 2 character Sojourn can do has leaked onto the internet. The Chinese-language video originated on YouTube before being shared by popular Overwatch personality (coach and streamer) Stylosa. Eight years ago, when Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 was released, one of the most anticipated modes featured in the game was their revamped Spec-Ops. This cooperative and tactical experience had two varied types, the Horde-esque survival mode and linear mission sets. Warner Bros Games and NetherRealm studios have revealed a bunch of announcements for Mortal Kombat 11 under the umbrella of a brand new Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate package due for release in November that also sees the game debut on Xbox Series S/X and PlayStation 5 with enhanced visuals and dynamic 4K resolution upgrades.
