Midair Review Have Archetype Managed To Capture The Magic Of Tribes

Tribes was a game that had me hooked. Playing into the early hours with teams of friends was just fantastic fun. Sadly it fell away and Tribes 2 just didn’t quite capture the magic of the original. Hi-Rez Studios then picked up the IP and launched Tribes Ascend but again they didn’t manage to capture the great gameplay of the original Tribes and drove the game into the ground before eventually pulling the plug....

In a lengthy dev update from Hypixel Studios, Hytale’s continued development and lofty scope is reconfirmed, but the team also acknowledges several reasons for its relative silence in recent months. In the process, Hytale’s release window is confirmed to have been moved to 2021....

Mixer To Get Rid Of Hugely Controversial Feature

Those who’ve been following the updates regarding Mixer over the last year are likely aware that Microsoft’s very own streaming platform has been engaged in quite a heated rivalry with gaming mainstay Twitch. Mixer pulled some of the Twitch’s most successful influencers/streamers, including the number #1 Fortnite streamer Ninja, and also Shroud along with a bunch of other streamers. However, this brain-drain is far from over, and the Microsoft-owned streaming platform is still looking for ways to seduce more popular streamers over to its territory....

Mortal Kombat 19 Things About Sub Zero That Make No Sense

Mortal Kombat is many things. It’s a very solid video game series, with some of the best fighting games ever. It is also a very beautiful reminder of the 90s, with its “extreme” cast of characters and replacing every hard ‘c’ with a ‘k’. It is also the only good video game film out there. But most importantly, Mortal Kombat is known for not being kid-friendly. From charred bones to intense attacks, the finishers of Mortal Kombat gained a reputation with how over-the-top they are....

Mortal Kombat 11 Ash May Not Be Dlc But Arya Might Be

Fans of Ash Williams, the chainsaw-handed monster fighter, were disappointed recently to learn that he would not be joining the cast of Mortal Kombat 11 through future DLC. The possible inclusion of the character was purely speculative in nature, but the conspiracy theorizing of his possible addition was abruptly shut down when Bruce Campbell himself confirmed that there was no such plan in motion. While this is certainly disappointing, as Ash would have made a great addition alongside such previous surprises like Freddy and Jason in Mortal Kombat X, fans need not worry, for there is another waiting in the shadows to join the fight....

Mortal Kombat Movie Greenlit For A Sequel Brings In Jeremy Slater As Scriptwriter

The Mortal Kombat franchise got a movie adaptation last year (no, not the 1995 one with the awesome music), and was released to critical acclaim. While the movie deviated slightly from the games by introducing a brand new and original character, Cole Young, as the main protagonist, it was still deeply rooted in the lore of the games and delivered on a high-octane action-packed movie experience. The movie has since been greenlit for a sequel, and according to a report from Deadline, it looks like Jeremy Slater will be brought on to the project to work on the script....

SCS Software has formally introduced multiplayer functionality to its engine, starting with beta tests over in American Truck Simulator. This comes via a new game mode called Convoy....
