NEO: The World Ends With You launched on PS4 and Switch a couple of months ago. I was surprised when it showed up on PC, honestly. While there’s no way for PC players to have played the original game on this platform, this game is absolutely understandable without prior familiarity, although you’ll miss out on some details. It’s basically part visual novel and part action game, containing a lot of content for anyone interested in collecting pins and running around Shibuya....

Revealed at the Guerilla Collective, Witch Strandings - which comes from An Airport for Aliens Currently Run by Dogs creator, Xalavier Nelson - will be available on PC via Steam for £11/€15/$15. Just Cause 4 developer Avalanche Studios has rolled out a fresh batch of DLC for the open-world sequel, with Dare Devils of Destruction available now for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One. The DLC is the first part of the Dare Devils, Demons and Danger expansion pass, and introduces ‘extreme vehicular mayhem’ to Just Cause 4’s trademark over-the-top action. Players will be able to tuck into a new island, factions, and missions that will test your driving skills to a new limit....
Ray tracing, DLSS and FSR support are coming to Hitman 3 on May 24 via Patch 3.110. With this update, every level in the World of Assassination trilogy will take advantage of this new feature, and PC players will finally be able to check it out. Earlier today, IO Interactive released an update that covers the system requirements needed to use ray tracing in Hitman 3. Ray tracing is very intensive for most machines, and you’ll often need to tone down other settings to maintain high frame rates....

The 17th agent joining the Valorant roster was scheduled to arrive when the next Act begins on November 2. However, Character Producer John Goscicki released a statement on the Valorant website revealing that the Episode 3 Act III agent has been delayed. The new release date for the mysterious agent is two weeks after the start of Episode 3 Act III with patch 3.10. Goscicki stated that the reason for the delay is the agent not meeting the quality standards that fans have come to expect....
Next year’s Plants vs Zombies game will be a sequel to last year’s Garden Warfare, new job ads for Popcap have confirmed. References to the shooter appear in two separate ads posted over the last week, with one stating that “Popcap HD is looking for a talented Interface Designer to help bring the UI of a new Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare game to life”. Another, meanwhile, reveals that Popcap is “seeking a Designer/Scripter to help us create engaging mission experiences for an upcoming shooter....
Nier Replicant allows you to take part in traditional activities such as Farming and Fishing. And why not we ask. It allows you to take a breather from the usual hustle-bustle of the game. There are various side quests that you can complete in the game that will help overall progress. They aren’t particularly important to the story but are a good way to farm money and level up quicker in the game....
Austrian publisher THQ Nordic has unveiledits latest studio, Nine Rocks Games. THQ Nordic plans to delve deeper into the shooter and survival genres with this studio. Their headquarters has been established in Slovakia’s capital city, Bratislava. The new studio features team members who have previously worked on many genre-defining titles. Some examples include 2018 hit DayZ, action-adventure game Conan, and 2003 FPS Chaser. While it was only a week delay, that was still seven more days fans had to speculate. Each new piece of news, no matter how seemingly mundane, was fuel for more theories. So there might be some importance to the fact that Nintendo filed a new trademark for Golden Sun…or not....
A new Japanese trailer for Nintendo Switch features a few seconds of action from FIFA, but it seems pretty unlikely this is the world’s first look at FIFA 18. Firstly, although EA has now referred to this year’s Switch FIFA as FIFA 18, the new trailer doesn’t mention any specific version. Secondly, there’s no way EA would choose to showcase the latest entry in one of its biggest franchises with a visually inferior edition on Switch....
Nintendo has won a high court case which will require internet providers in the United Kingdom to block websites that provide the means to pirate Switch video games (via Eurogamer). The internet service providers Sky, BT, EE, Talktalk, and Virgin Media must ‘block, or at least impede access’ to four identified websites that sell pirated Switch games, promote modified hardware, or provide instructions on how to mod the Switch for piracy reasons....
Suda51, creator of the phenomenal No More Heroes franchise, has announced that he’ll be hosting Travis Monday Nightro 2, the sequel to his August live-stream named for No More Heroes protagonist Travis Touchdown, with IGN and a special guest on October 23rd at 7pm JST. It’s likely that at the time of reading, this event has already taken place, and IGN will be providing an English printed description some time after the live-steam has ended....
